How to Make a Gaming Flowchart in Microsoft Word
In the United States alone, it’s been stated that the gaming industry’s overall market value reached about 19 billion USD in 2019. Video games can be a highly lucrative business, but planning all the work for it can be very timeconsuming. However, with our Ready-Made Gaming Flowchart Templates, you can cut down on the time and hassle it takes!
Are you considering program options to edit our templates with? Microsoft Word is a suitable tool for you to use; with a streamlined set of tools and a reputation for reliability, you can’t go wrong with counting on Word for your editing needs.
1. Go to Microsoft’s Office Store and Subscribe
MS Word comes with a set of tools and features that are easy to pick up by anyone. If you don’t have access to Word yet, you’ll need to visit products.office.com to find it. At the Office site, click on “products” (at the top of the page) and then “Word.” Choose from one of their subscription plans and you’ll be able to install the program to your computer. You have the option to try Word for free first with Microsoft’s trial offer (which lasts for 7 days).
Word is also available on Android and iOS devices, in case you don’t have immediate access to a desktop computer or need to work while you’re on the move.
2. Download Your Template of Choice
To download a flowchart template (from this page), click on the desired template’s thumbnail to open its respective page in a new tab on your browser. Head over to the new browser tab and then click on the large download button; you’ll be guided to follow a few simple steps to download the template file to your computer/device. Pick a location in your storage that makes it easy to find the template later; rename the file to something you can better remember if needed.
3. Boot up Word; Plan Out Your Flowchart
Did you choose a template yet? After downloading the file, open it in Word and edit it as you compose a proper workflow. Summarize your plan into concise sections that are usable for the flowchart. Consider using our gaming organizational chart templates for more ways to get organized.
Replace the prewritten text with your own necessary details. If you’re working with a team, the flowchart will need to be easy to read by other members; use font styles and colors that stand out from the template’s design. The sequential order of your content needs to make sense in its arrangement, each part correlating with each in the diagram’s context.
4. Save Your Work and Distribute
Once you’re through with creating your flowchart, print some copies of it and hand them out to each member of your dev team. You can also share digital copies of your flowchart (through email, file-sharing sites, etc).
Whether you’re making a medieval-fantasy fighting game or a team-based battle royale, Microsoft Word and our document templates will make it easier to reach your goals!
