4. Connect the Ideas

A mind map is a diagram showing the connections of ideas to one another. It can also serve as a chart. The mind map follows a radial pattern and the main subject is situated at the center. The aspects or categories are located at its immediate peripheries, followed by the supporting ideas which are attached to their corresponding categories. All of them can be connected using branches.

5. Use Colors for Visual Distinction of Ideas
