A day will only be a typical day if something hasn't changed. Progress didn't happen eventually? John Heywood twisted a famous saying and made it into a more meaningful one: "Rome wasn't built in a day, but they were laying bricks every hour." We have 24 hours in a day, but not all of us are efficient and effective enough to make every hour count. Don't be depressed just yet because here are our 24 Hour Schedule templates! How to Set a 24-hour Schedule in Google Docs
Twenty-four hours make up our day, yet most of us don’t feel that twenty-four hours is not enough to get all the things done. Many would probably agree, right? But here’s Jason Parks who shared in Lifehack.org twenty-four steps for the most productive twenty four hour day. Waking up early, staying healthy in all aspects of life, focusing on your goals, having fun and spending time for yourself from time to time, organizing one’s self, exploring, and planning are what generally sums up his twenty-four steps. How about you? What is your plan for the twenty-four hours of your day? Organize a personalized schedule now by applying the steps and tips below.
1. Make a Timetable
Organize a table containing the division of time of the day that favors you. It can be set every thirty minutes or hourly. It depends on what and where you are basing the schedule from. Maybe it follows the schedule of your class or work or the time it takes you to complete your daily routine. How the time is divided determines your daily time management plan. How many days are you planning for this schedule? For a week, month, or just for a day? Create a number of timetables that will accommodate this time frame.
2. Calendar the Days
If you are making a one day schedule, specify the day and date it is allocated for. But if you are doing a monthly or weekly schedule, distribute the days of the week on the timetable. Place them as labels of the next columns succeeding the time frames. This way, the rest of the days of every week are covered so it won’t appear as repetitive contents in the schedule. Aside from the time, the days make the schedule more exact. Utilizing a schedule with the days laid out makes the recording of tasks or people easier and more manageable.
3. Layout the Schedule to its Purpose
Configure the schedule template based on the purpose you have set for it. Further the details presented on the schedule by adding rows and columns for the list of people or tasks that will be reserved for each allotted time on the schedule. Label them so you or the user of this schedule template will know where to situate the details. Generate a comprehensive schedule quickly with our free 24 hour schedule templates above. Choose a template of your desired schedule format and readily customize it in Google Docs. Make use of them now!
4. Set the Scheduled People or Tasks
It will be better if the schedule is already complete the very moment you produce it. But if it is not possible, you can still go over from steps one to this step and employ the tips included in each to attain a complete schedule. If the details are ready, put them in the schedule so the information will be stored as well when you save the document. Review the accomplished schedule and make sure that you just made an accurate schedule you can rely on in guiding you on what your next schedule should be.
