How to Make Thanksgiving Day Holiday Templates in Apple Pages
Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated between October and November in the countries of Canada, United States, Carribean Islands, and some other parts of the world, is considered the day of giving thanks for the blessings and abundance of harvest. This national day is memorialized with what they call the Thanksgiving dinner, with the famous turkey as its official menu. To make Thanksgiving Day holiday templates, you first need to plan your event before you choose your advertising tools. With these two essential elements coupled with good editing software, you can start your designs by following the steps below:
1. Organize Your Thanksgiving Event
Planning is the most crucial task you have to undertake when organizing an event. Planning will help you prepare ahead for a holiday; hence, you need to consolidate your ideas. When you start your game plan, take note of several Thanksgiving event trends where you could get new concepts for the gathering. If you are planning to cook a feast for your guests, there are many menu recipes and ideas online that you can refer to.
People celebrate Thanksgiving Day on a fall, so why not use decorations for your venue that fits the theme? It will earn the delight of the family and the visitors, so go ahead and write those ideas down.
2. Determine the Kind of Marketing Tools You'll Need
When you are done with your first step, the next thing you should do is to decide what kind of marketing tool you will be using for the event. You have to choose from an array of flyers, menus, greeting cards, invitations, and posters. Be sure it goes in line with the theme of the event.
3. Download Apple Pages
After deciding on your plan and marketing tools, you can now download Apple Pages to edit your material. Apple Pages is available in all Mac and iOS devices, and if you own one of these gadgets, it will be easier for you to work on your stuff. Apple Pages has a lot of tutorials online, and this will be very convenient for you if you are using it for the first time.
4. Pick an Outstanding Layout
Giving your marketing tools a great design means picking out an exceptional layout that offers an excellent result. Draft an initial design, or you can use other references to find inspiration for your design template.
5. Mix and Match Colors and Images
Autumn sets a fitting tone for the Thanksgiving holiday, and this is a color associated with the celebration. The various shades of magenta, red, yellow, purple, orange, and brown can be good choices for your motif, so choose well. You can mix your colors and experiment with other shades to create a beautiful background.
For your fonts, you can play with Sans Serifs or Arial. But, if you want to be more creative, going italic is fine too. Lettering is a bonus to your tool's visuals, and if you are confident with your calligraphy skills, feel free to incorporate if necessary. Add images that complement the background design of the template. Try not to make your pictures too overbearing so each component on the template stands out.
6. Print Your Material
After double-checking the contents, you can now print it out. Make sure that you use high-quality materials and stock papers for your tools.
