How to Create a Legal Assignment in Google Docs
An assignment is a common practice in contract law that exists in various contractual situations. Examples of such are the assumption of risks, claim for damages, copyrights, trademarks, intellectual property rights or patents, and more. A legal assignment is the transfer of contractual rights or property from one party (the “assignor”) to another that gives the recipient (the “assignee”) the rights or property the owner or the holder had before the transfer arrangement.
